Job Description of Registration Assistant/Anthro

• Conduct accurate body measurements including height, weight, skinfold thickness, limb circumference, and other relevant dimensions.
• Measure body composition, such as fat mass, muscle mass, and bone density, using standard techniques and tools.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate anthropometric tools such as calipers, stadiometers, and body composition analyzers to ensure accurate data collection.
• Ensure all measurement equipment is cleaned, stored, and handled in compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Record all measurements meticulously in both digital and manual formats.
• Ensure consistency in data collection following standardized protocols.
• Maintain accurate and organized records for future analysis or reporting.
• Explain procedures to participants and ensure their comfort during the measurement process.
• Obtain informed consent and maintain confidentiality regarding participant information.
• Ensure all measurements are taken consistently and accurately, minimizing human error.
• Monitor and adjust measurement techniques to meet research or clinical requirements.
• Analyze collected anthropometric data to assess health, nutrition status, or physical development, depending on project goals.
• Prepare reports, charts, or summaries based on measurements for research teams, clinicians, or public health initiatives.
• Conduct sessions on Antenatal Care (ANC), Postnatal Care (PNC), the First 1000 Days of a child, the Importance of Breastfeeding, and the Proper Use and Value of Specialized Nutritious Foods (SNF) using electronic media.
