Terms of Reference (ToR): Photography Services for a Project in Lahore

Background: Right To Play has been implementing “Skills for Life” project in remote areas of Lahore aimed at improving the life of children to provide the skills for life essential, for the social, emotional and cognitive development for the children leading to better quality of life. To capture the progress, impact, and activities of these projects, we require the services of a professional photographer.

Objectives:

• To document project activities, events, and achievements through high-quality photographs.
• To showcase the impact of our project on the communities in marginalized areas of Lahore.
• To maintain a comprehensive visual record for reporting, documentation, and promotional purposes.

Scope of Work: The photographer will be responsible for:

• Visiting project sites in remote areas of Lahore (Township, Shadbagh, Wassanpura, Chungi Amar Sidhu & Buddu Ki Sani) as per the provided schedule.
• Capturing high-resolution images of project activities, beneficiaries, and events.
• Adhering to ethical standards and respecting the privacy and dignity of individuals while capturing images.
• Providing edited, captioned, and categorized photographs in digital format within the specified timeline.
• Collaborating with project staff to understand the context and objectives to be conveyed through the photographs.

Deliverables:

• A collection of 80-100 high-resolution, professionally edited project photographs.
• Captions for each photograph
• Digital copies of the photographs organized and categorized according to project sites, activities, and themes.
• Submission of the final deliverables within 15 days after visit to the project sites.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably with a portfolio showcasing social impact photography.
• Proficiency in using high-quality photography equipment and editing software.
• Knowledge of ethical standards and guidelines related to photography in development settings.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and adhere to deadlines.

Timeline: The photography assignments are expected to commence on Last week of October-24..

Budget: Interested photographers firm are invited to submit their quotations, inclusive of all expenses related to local travel, equipment, and editing. The budget allocation for this photography assignment is PKR 100,000 inclusive of all taxes.
