Position Objectives:

Responsible for implementation of RFL programin Sindh Province. The RFL Manager reports to the Provincial Secretary Sindh and take technical guidance from RFL staffat PRCS National Headquarters in Islamabad

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement, supervise and monitor RFL program activities in the Sindh province as per LFA and approved budget.
  • Coordinate and manage the incoming and outgoing flow of individual cases i.e. Tracing requests, Allegations, Red Cross Messages, Salamat, Unaccompanied/Separated children, Family Reunification, etc.
  • Close coordination with the PRCS NHQ Islamabad for technical support, to ensure robust follow up of individual cases and timely exchange of case updates/progress.
  • Mobilize RFL response in the wake of any disaster or, emergency in Sindh including assessing RFL needs, deployment of RFL volunteers in the field, compiling updates and stats on the services delivered
  • Identify train and maintain a pool of volunteers to mobilize for RFL activities including collection and follow up of tracing requests, delivery of Red Cross Message etc. in Sindh.
  • Ensure follow up of people contacting PRCS for RFL services. Schedule appointments with the requesters or attend those visiting PRCS Sindh PHQ to collect appropriate RFL requests as per needs.
  • Conduct visit to detention centers in Sindh Province for the provision of RFL services to foreign detainees.
  • Coordinate with Home Department, Prison Authorities for the effective implementation of activities of RFL in Detention.
    • Coordinate and manage the caseload linked to detention visits in Sindh including; organizing individual forms, preparing embassy notifications, transmission of RFL requests, and consolidating statistics etc.
    • Contribute to data entry and processing of RFL cases in the case management system & provide timely lists of cases.
    • Prepare regular, timely and accurate progress reports e.g Monthly Narrative, Financial & monitoring reports and share with all concerned
    • Contribute to conducting specific RFL needs assessments & activities in close coordination with ICRC and PRC RFL team
    • Contribute to updating stakeholder mapping and ensure MoM of meetings conducted are shared timely with PHQ Management and NHQ

General Duties

  • Supports the RFL Department for general administrative tasks, as required.
  • Works independently in RFL Program at PHQ, acts as support and reference point within the tracing office and shares relevant information with the colleagues.
  • Contributes to the smooth running of the Tracing Office and,in turn with the colleagues,interviews person coming spontaneously or upon request to the office.
  • Participates actively in internal meetings
  • Answering incoming telephone calls to RFL office
  • In case of absence should replace the other RFL Colleagues in his/her daily duties.

Minimum required knowledge & experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years' work experience preferably in protection related activities in humanitarian sector.
  • University’s degree (16 years Education) / equivalent in social sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, International Relations and Law)
  • Excellent computer skills, inclusive of Office Suite tools (excel, words, PowerPoint)
  • Good data management skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written) in English and Urdu.
  • Capacities of self-training and integration of new tools and methodologies 

Travelling

Flexibility to travel into the fields for conduct of monitoring & other related tasks.

Age Limit

Maximum age limits up to 45 years.
