Position Summary:

AKHS, P is seeking a competent Finance Officer at AKHC Aliabad, Hunza to support the Finance Department in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations. The Finance Officer will coordinate with the regional and central finance teams to process, reconcile, and maintain a wide range of financial documents, including invoices, bills, reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor statements, and vouchers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process inpatient and OPD billing and manage patient admissions.
  • Prepare monthly share-based calculations for doctors and submit to regional finance.
  • Conduct physical counts of pharmacy and other inventories and prepare monthly reconciliation reports.
  • Coordinate with panels for patient approval processes.
  • Monitor and reconcile OPD and inpatient billing.
  • Process new service additions in the billing dictionary with required documentation.
  • Supervise and monitor reception operations.
  • Conduct regular surprise cash counts and report findings to management.
  • Prepare monthly credit card reconciliations.
  • Compile and submit monthly OPD and inpatient income reports.
  • Support regional and central finance teams in annual service rate revisions.
  • Prepare and reconcile daily and monthly cash collections and share with regional and central finance.
  • Manage and maintain unit petty cash.
  • Prepare and post Receipt Vouchers (RVs).
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial vouchers.
  • Follow up on outstanding patient receivables.
  • Coordinate effectively with finance staff and other departments to ensure compliance with internal processes.

Qualification & Experience

  • BBA/MBA, B. Com / M. Com or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with financial software is an advantage.
