Job Summary
The Intern – Research & Learning will support evidence-based learning, documentation, and analysis under the Green Church Initiative. Under the supervision of the Project Manager and in coordination with the PMS MEAL and Programme teams, the intern will assist in data collection, analysis, research documentation, and learning processes to inform project reporting, advocacy, and future programming. This position offers practical exposure to research methods within a development and climate-focused project.
Responsibilities
• Support baseline, endline, and activity-based data collection
• Assist in surveys, FGDs, KIIs, and observation tools
• Support data entry, cleaning, and basic analysis
• Assist in preparing learning briefs, research notes, and summaries
• Support documentation of lessons learned and best practices
• Assist MEAL team in compiling indicators and evidence
• Support development of case studies and analytical reports
• Ensure ethical data collection, informed consent, and safeguarding compliance
• Comply with PMS code of conduct, safeguarding, and research ethics standards
Specifications
Education:
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Education, or related field
Work Experience:
• Not required (learning and exposure-based position)
