2. General Position Summary

This is a full-time job and will be based in Ghizer for the cleaning of office/Guest house under the direct supervision of the HR Officer.

In addition, s/he may be called upon to carry out surveys, participatory needs assessments or any other activity that may be deemed necessary.

 

3. Essential Job Function

Objective 1: Perform Cleaning work:

Activities:

  • Responsible for cleaning office and or Guest House.
  • Responsible to ensure proper dusting and cleanness of office furniture, chairs, desk, table, and window
  • Manage stocks of guest house and office (toilet tissues, cleaning products,) and request logistic department when needed.
  • Report to the Admin for need for new supplies, missing/damaged items or any repairs required
  • Wash cleaning clothes for office and guesthouses on regular basis (do not mix with normal clothes)

Objective 2: Washing kitchen sets and utensils

 

  • Ensuring germ-free kitchen by cleaning of different utensils used in the kitchen on time. 
  • Manage stocks and kitchen cleaning items properly (Dishwashing & cleaning products,)
  • Timely raising request for kitchen cleaning items
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

 

This list is not limited; the employee may be required to perform any other task necessary and compatible with its functions.

 

4. REQUIREMENTS

 

 

 

 

Education:  

Able to read and write Urdu.

 

Experience:

Have at least 1 to 2s years of experience working with INGO/ NGO.

 

 

Languages:     

Fluency in Urdu and the local language.

 

 

Knowledge:             

    

Supervisory Responsibility: N/A

 

     Accountability

  • Reports Directly To:   Security and Logistics Officer
  • Works Directly With: Flood-affected communities
