CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g., once a week or more) or intensively (e.g., four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff. |
ROLE PURPOSE: The Comms and Media Assistant will support the Director I&I in delivering high-quality advocacy, campaigns, communications, and media outputs for the Pakistan Country office program. The role includes assisting in content development, visibility material design for donor and internal reporting, and supporting coordination with media, partners, and field teams. This role will contribute to amplifying the voices of children and communities through documentation and communication support while ensuring brand and safeguarding compliance. The role will also entail support to the Director Influencing & Impact (I&I) in activities across a range of offices, functions and members including the Humanitarian Advocacy Working Group, Climate Crisis Advocacy Working Group and the Global Policy and Advocacy Team. The role holder is responsible for delivering strong media engagement, products and opportunities SCOPE OF ROLE: Reports to: Director I & I Direct: None Indirect : None Budget Responsibilities: None Role Dimensions: The role holder is expected to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, travel to program areas, ensuring effective communication, media and collaborative partnerships, and always ensuring the best interests of the children we work with. |

Additional Job Responsibilities The job duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out additional duties within a reasonable level of their skills and experience. The post holder is required to undertake travel from time to time to humanitarian response areas to provide onsite real time analyses.
