 Position Title: Senior Manager – Resource Mobilization & Corporate Partnerships

Location: Karachi, Pakistan           
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

About the Role

As a senior member of the LAS team, you will be responsible for leading our resource mobilization strategy, deepening donor relationships, and forging high-value partnerships with philanthropists, corporate actors, and institutional funders. You will work closely with LAS leadership to design and implement initiatives that align with our vision of accessible justice for all.

This role is ideal for a strategic, dynamic, and purpose-driven professional with a track record in fundraising, proposal development, and partnership building at both national and global levels.

 


Key Responsibilities

1. Donor & Corporate Engagement

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with philanthropists, CSR leaders, foundations, and ambassadors.

  • Lead donor control efforts through tailored engagement plans and regular communication.

  • Represent LAS in key meetings with donors and partners, pitching aligned opportunities for collaboration.

  • Facilitate meaningful dialogue between LAS leadership and prospective donors or corporate sponsors.

2. Fundraising & Proposal Development

  • Craft compelling funding proposals, concept notes, and presentations for corporations, foundations, and institutional funders.

  • Collaborate with partners to co-design CSR initiatives, shared-value campaigns, and sponsorship models.

  • Ensure timely submission, donor compliance, and quality assurance of all fundraising materials.

3. Resource Mobilization Strategy

  • Develop and execute a multi-year resource mobilization strategy focused on sustainability and growth.

  • Deliver both short-term funding wins and long-term partnerships across diverse funding streams (CSR, institutional donors, Zakat).

4. Donor & Partner Mapping

  • Conduct research and mapping to identify high-potential donors and CSR partners.

  • Analyze trends in corporate philanthropy and institutional funding to inform engagement strategies.

  • Create a donors database system which can be easily accessed by the Senior Management and the Business Development team.

  • Maintain an up-to-date database with profiles and plans for each priority donor.

5. Corporate Partnership Development

  • Initiate and scale partnerships with local and multinational companies aligned with LAS's mission.

  • Design mutually beneficial models such as employee giving, matched donations, cause-marketing, and project sponsorships.

  • Formalize partnerships through MoUs in coordination with legal, finance, and communications teams.

6. Internal Coordination & Systems

  • Establish tools and systems to manage donor pipelines, proposal tracking, and reporting schedules.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with program, finance, and communications teams to gather timely inputs.

7. Communications & Collateral Development

  • Develop persuasive and visually appealing collateral for donors including decks, brochures, donor kits, and impact reports.

  • Ensure alignment with LAS branding, tone, and strategic messaging in all external communications.

8. Events & Engagement

  • Organize site visits, donor briefings, and high-impact events that deepen donor engagement.

  • Ensure corporate partners receive appropriate recognition through LAS publications and digital platforms.

9. Capacity Building

  • Train internal staff on best practices in fundraising, donor engagement, and proposal writing.

  • Foster a culture of fundraising excellence across LAS.

 


 QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Master’s degree in business development, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or corporate partnerships, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Proven track record of securing and managing strategic partnerships with major donors and CSR funders.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.

  • Strong proposal writing, budgeting, and project management expertise.

  • Strategic thinker with high attention to detail and ability to work independently and across teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly across time zones.
