Position Objectives: |
||
The Community Mobilizer will work to enable and encourage people to adopt good health practices regarding hygiene and to increase control over community public health. |
||

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities |

1 |
Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of the organization. |

Works in line with the humanitarian Principles. |
|
3 |
Adheres to the Security rules and procedures. |
|
4 |
Collect necessary baseline information about the target community and conduct community mapping and social surveys for Health and WASH in the government health facility catchment areas. |
|
5 |
Identify and prepare a list of leaders, influencers, community activists, and the formation of village committees etc. |
|
6 |
Plan, form, and maintain village committees at each health facility catchment village. |
|
7 |
Health, hygiene, and preventive health education dissemination to the patients and community members. |
|
8 |
Health education, which targets diseases and immunization schedules, at health facility catchment areas, including schools. |
|
9 |
Establish strong contact and coordination with the community and volunteers for the project intervention. |
|
10 |
Coordinate with the District Education Office and the School Incharge regularly regarding school health activities. |
|
11 |
Educate the school students through healthy interventions. Motivate and encourage potential community leaders and volunteer deployment to advocate and promote the project in their community and ensure maximum coverage for better health outcomes. |

Capacity building of village committee members and volunteers through community mobilization and leadership skills. |

12 |
Develop and maintain the necessary documentation and record of all project activities, update all records at the office level and identify case studies from the community for documentation. |
|
13 |
To conduct participatory monitoring of community meetings, water and sanitation facilities usage and maintenance with the community. |
|
14 |
To inform the local authority and health department if there is an outbreak in the community that requires an immediate response. Keeping up to date with current health promotion trends. |
|
15 |
Record keeping and timely report submission to the supervisor. |

Education |
||
BA, BS in Social Sciences from a HEC-recognised Institute / University. Master’s degree Holders will be given Preference. |
