Purpose

This call is for experienced graphic designer on short-term contract to support in the repackaging of knowledge into visual formats. The designer will be based at the CABI office in Rawalpindi to cater to the graphic design and related technical needs of the office.

Scope of Work/Activities

The consultant will:

• Provide design and visualization services for internal and external stakeholders, including presentations, infographics, document layout and formatting
• Create design assets and templates as needed for various interventions and events, including branded PowerPoint templates.
• Create and modify existing design templates for various documents/materials, ensuring brand consistency across different mediums.
• Provide capacity building sessions on simple graphic and visual design understanding to internal audiences as needed.

Professional Qulification and Experience

• Masters degree in related field, preference will be give to have degree of BFA/MFA
• Minimum of five years progressive experience in graphic design and relevant areas is required 
• Good portfolio of design work is required.
• Ability to follow creative briefs and produce accurate artwork in line with brand guidelines is an asset.
• Experience of working for an international organization or an NGO is desirable.
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products, such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is required.
• Multimedia and editing knowledge using Premiere Pro is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Office platforms is required.

Technical Knowledge

Required: Proficiency in illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva and other design softwares, in addition to InPage, is required.

Desirable: Command in video animation software and experience of social media platform design and management will be an asset.

Equipment Requirement: The consultant must be equipped with required equipment and all the necessary software to performing digital artwork.

Language: Proficiency in English and Urdu is required.

Travel: No travel is envisaged for this consultancy.

Duration: This is short-term consultancy for a period of 14 weeks (Sept 20, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024)
