Associates in Development (AiD) is an international consulting organization with its Head Office in Islamabad, Pakistan and affiliated offices in the UK and the US. Established in 1992, the firm provides development and management consulting services in the areas of engineering and infrastructure, social sectors, environment, monitoring and evaluation, research, GIS/MIS, institutional development, and business development support. AiD works with bilateral and multilateral donor organizations, public sector agencies, foundations, private sector clients, and international consulting firms.
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the following position at our Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and track U.S.-based consulting opportunities from federal agencies, state governments, multilateral organizations, foundations, philanthropic organizations, and large consulting firms.
- Screen opportunities against eligibility criteria, past performance requirements, and partnering/subcontracting needs.
- Maintain a structured business development pipeline and central BD tracker with opportunity details, deadlines, qualification status, and required actions.
- Support preparation of U.S.-compliant BD materials including capability statements, opportunity briefs, EOI inputs, relationship statements, and letters of commitment.
- Identify and profile potential U.S.-based small businesses and consulting firms for teaming/subcontracting.
- Support development of U.S.-focused capability materials, sector profiles, project experience summaries, and expert databases.
- Support AiD USA LLC website content, LinkedIn positioning, market research, and coordination with AiD USA LLC leadership and AiD Pvt Ltd teams.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in business development, research and analysis, proposal support, consulting, or development sector work.
- Exposure to donor-funded projects (USAID, World Bank, ADB, etc.) will be an advantage.
- Strong English writing and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organization.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), online research tools, and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with U.S. procurement platforms such as SAM.gov and Grants.gov is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently with structured reporting.
Performance Indicators
- Number of opportunities identified and screened weekly.
- Number of qualified leads generated.
- Contribution to proposal preparation and submissions.
- Number of partnership leads identified.
- Quality and timeliness of BD reporting.
Reporting Line
Reports to: Manager Social Sector SS AiD. Works closely with: CEO AiD USA LLC and relevant sector teams.
