Job Purpose:
The Project Manager (PM) will lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the project, ensuring alignment with objectives related to environmental justice, gender equality, peacebuilding, and community engagement. The PM will be responsible for strategic oversight, stakeholder coordination, team management, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Duration: 7 Months
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, implementation, and monitoring in line with approved workplans and donor requirements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient delivery.
- Supervise and provide leadership to project staff including Project Coordinators, Communication Officer, Research Officer, and Social Mobilizers.
- Ensure technical quality across all interventions including trainings, CEJP initiatives, awareness campaigns, and research outputs.
- Coordinate with Donor, government departments (EPA), academia, civil society, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor risks, challenges, and performance, and implement corrective measures where required.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, gender, and visibility standards.
- Lead preparation and submission of narrative and financial reports.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and sustainability strategies.
- Perform any other task assigned by senior management.

Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree (or Bachelor’s with 2 additional years) in Social Sciences, Law, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, Peace & Conflict Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in project management.
- At least 2 years’ experience with UN or international donor-funded projects.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.
