1. Introduction of Organization:

Association for Gender Awareness & Human Empowerment (AGAHE) is a national non-government organization (NGO) established in 2007 under the Societies Act, 1860 in Punjab with a vision to ‘create an enabling environment for vulnerable segments of society where they can utilize their full potential for improvement in their lives and have equal opportunities to safeguard their rights. Core thematic areas of AGAHE include Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Health & Nutrition, Sustainable Livelihood, Governance, and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).

2. Introduction of PPAF RSS & CR Project:

Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, Restoring Social Services and Climate Resilience is a two-year project implemented through 34 partner organisations. It aims to ll the service delivery gap in health, education, water, sanitation and other services by intervening both at the supply and demand sides of the social services delivery equation, while maximising impact through citizen-local government engagements and fostering local leadership for climate resilient development and planning. This initiative builds on PPAF’s existing investments to strengthen disaster risk management and climate resilience, while contributing to the achievement of global Sustainable Development Goals.

3.Instruction to Tenderers:

In order for Provision of Food & Catering arrangements in District Kasur & Okara, the Provision of Food & Catering arrangements are required as mentioned in specifications. AGAHE is inviting qualified and experienced suppliers bid for the contract of supply of Food & Catering arrangements.

The foreseeable timetable for this procedure is as follows:

General Remarks and Special Conditions

1. All quotations must be addressed to AGAHE Procurement Department.
2. Reference number and Quotations title must be mention on sealed envelop.
3. Quotations shall be submitted in PKR.
4. Quotation must be written on company letterhead.
5. Payment shall be made within 07 days after receiving invoice.
6. Items of meal/serving can be increased or decreased according as per available budget.
7. Payment shall be made through cross cheque after Tax deduction as per provision of law.
8. Service provider must not be engaged in any child labor, human rights abuses, corruption, fraudulent, collusive or coercive practices including but not limited to applying/ bidding by multiple names / companies. If any bidder is found to be involved in such practices his/her bid may be rejected and the companies in question permanently blacklisted.
9. AGAHE reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation in parts or whole with assigning any reason.
10. In case of calculation mistake unit rate will be considered for financial evaluation.
11. The offered services must be according to the terms and conditions specified in the below sections and subsequently agreed through the contract between AGAHE and the said service provider.
12. All services must be delivered according to the terms and conditions listed below. Timely provision of services in accordance with the negotiated delivery period is of utmost importance.
13. The tenderer must comply with the conditions and instructions as stated in the tender pack. Failure to do so may lead to the rejection of the tenderer. AGAHE tender committee has the right to accept/ reject any offer. The decision of the tender committee is final regarding the evaluation of the offers and not challenge able in any court/ forum.
14. “Tenderer” means any person, partnership, firm or company being prequalified and submitting a fully priced offer in accordance with the tender and must be a registered firm (this is in contrast to what is mentioned earlier).
15. The area of project including UC Sehjra & UC Mokal in Kasur District and UC Attari & UC Rohela Tejeka In Okara District. The Vendor Can apply for only one District.
16. All recipients of the tender document shall, whether they submit the tender or not, treat the details contained therein as confidential and should submit the complete tender pack fully signed and stamped along with the offer.
