1. Purpose
This Agreement is made to confirm the participation of the Company in the PSEB Apprenticeship Program “Revamping IT Industry Landscape”. This is a social project that aims to equip recent graduates through an Apprenticeship Program with the practical skills and experience needed to thrive in the IT and ITeS industries. The Company agrees to host and train selected Apprentices under this program as per PSEB guidelines.
2. Duration
This agreement will remain in force starting from [Start Date] till end of 30th June of Current Financial Year, extendable annually up to a period of three years or till the Project life, whichever comes first, for the assigned apprenticeship batch of Apprentices.
3. Apprentices Quota
The Company understands and undertakes that it has IT & ITeS related work and the quota of apprentices for fresh IT Graduates will be allotted to the company based on its annual revenue (local/export) that must be correctly mentioned on the portal and evidence will be provided to PSEB on demand.
4. Company Responsibilities
The Company agrees to:
- Company will hire the apprentices on announcement of batch date by PSEB as per quota of apprentices annually assigned as per their annual revenue brackets on portal approved by PSEB, time to time.
- Provide Apprentices with a safe, professional, and learning-oriented environment.
- Assign them relevant IT-related tasks and project work to enhance their technical and professional skills.
- Ensure Apprentices work up to 40 hours per week and maintain at least 75% attendance, biometric attendance is preferred.
- Supervise, guide, and monitor their performance regularly.
- Submit the following to PSEB every month must be uploaded on portal and also send hard form signed stamp through courier:
- Attendance sheet of all Apprentices.
- Monthly performance report and summary of activities.
- Details of the projects or tasks each Apprentice has worked on, including key duties and learning outcomes signed by team lead/supervisor/HOD.
- Facilitate PSEB representatives during monitoring or surprise visits at any time during the apprenticeship period.
- Issue an official Apprenticeship Completion Letter to each Apprentice upon satisfactory performance and successful completion of the program.
- Notify PSEB immediately in the event of early termination, dropout, withdrawal, or discontinuation of any Apprentice, stating the reason and effective date of termination.
- On completion of apprenticeship, fill consent/clearance form duly signed by apprentice and company before leaving, stating duration of apprenticeship, if retained by same company/got job in another company, his/her monthly salary slab offered and field of work, or doing freelance or waiting for job etc.
- The company will request the applicant to bring the below-mentioned mandatory documents at the time of interview and verify that all data/information entered correctly on the portal, relevant documents are uploaded on the portal profile and are readable, and validate all information entered on the portal profile, scan uploaded documents, and original documents against the portal at the time of interview to identify any discrepancy and provide solutions before the batch starts:
- 2 Photographs attested (passport size and verified with portal profile)
- Original CNIC (verify information, especially Complete Name, CNIC number, etc., with portal profile)
- Original transcript and degree that must clearly show IT degree completed within the last 2 years (total 16 years of education), minimum 2.5 or more CGPA; the same must be entered correctly on the portal profile, or an original letter from the university mentioning IT-related degree, year of passing, and CGPA, if the degree is pending.
- Domicile (Verify City, District, Province with portal profile)
- Bank account details must be only of the applicant and are acceptable with correct IBAN number; verify data entered and uploaded scanned Cheque/Banking App/Bank statement screenshot with portal profile (no payment will be transferred to microfinance accounts such as JazzCash, Easypaisa, Upaisa, or any mobile wallet, etc., or accounts other than the applicant's account). If the applicant doesn't have a bank account, the company will ensure that all Apprentices open a valid bank account within one (01) month.
- One set of photocopies of CNIC, transcript & degree/Original letter from University, Domicile attested by a Govt. Gazetted Officer, and a print of Cheque/Banking App/Bank statement screenshot showing Bank IBAN. These mandatory documents must be collected from the applicant at the time of interview by the company and sent to PSEB on the given date before commencement of the batch.
- The company will make efforts to ensure maximum retention of apprentices by offering them suitable employment upon completion of their apprenticeship.
- The company will be responsible for maintaining all relevant records for a period of five years and shall provide them to PSEB if and when required.
- The company shall ensure that all Apprentices open a valid bank account (excluding JazzCash, Easypaisa, Upaisa or any mobile wallet etc.) within one month of the commencement of the apprenticeship.
- Nominate a Company Spokesperson / Coordinator who will serve as the contact person with PSEB for all communications and reports.
- The company is not admissible to receive any payment/claim from PSEB or apprentices at any time under any circumstances.
- All information provided by companies must be correct. Any misinformation, non-cooperative, and non-responsive behavior may affect the future course of work with PSEB.
5. DROP-OUT/Termination Procedure for Apprentice
- The Company will issue two (2) written warnings to the apprentice through email with a gap of seven (7) days for his/her issue to take corrective measures. If the matter is resolved, the apprentice will continue for the remaining period.
- If the apprentice is not responsive after 2 written intimations or is not serious about the apprenticeship, a 3rd and final written email will be sent to the apprentice to respond and provide justification to clarify his/her position within one (1) week. Otherwise, this 3rd intimation may be considered as one month's notice from the Company's side, and the complete case must be sent to PSEB along with the email conversation with the apprentice and supporting evidence, after which the apprentice will be terminated automatically.
- In case of a response within one week of the 3rd notice, the apprentice's response/hearing and the complete case must be sent to PSEB along with the email conversation with the apprentice and supporting evidence for PSEB's decision/recommendation.

The designated person will be responsible for sharing monthly data, updates, and performance records with PSEB.
7. PSEB Responsibilities
PSEB agrees to:
- Provide program guidelines and coordinate with the Company for smooth execution.
- Review performance (on prescribed format) and attendance reports submitted monthly.
- Conduct monitoring or surprise visits to ensure program standards are met.
- Release stipends to Apprentices directly after receiving verified reports and satisfactory performance feedback.
- PSEB shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Company in hosting Apprentices, including but not limited to utilities, supervision, training materials, workspace, or administrative expenses.
- PSEB will not be responsible for any claims, disputes, or costs arising from the Company’s management or decisions regarding Apprentices.
8. Monitoring and Reporting
- The Company will maintain up-to-date records of attendance, work progress, and performance for each Apprentice and submit these reports regularly to PSEB.
- PSEB will conduct periodic reviews, verification checks, and monitoring visits, both scheduled or surprise to assess compliance, performance and overall program quality.
- Accurate and timely reporting is essential for stipend processing and program continuity.
9. Future Participation
Upon satisfactory completion of the current batch, including timely submission of reports, positive performance outcomes, and cooperation during PSEB evaluations, the Company may apply to host a new batch of Apprentices in future cycles of the program.
10. Confidentiality
Both the Company and PSEB agree to maintain confidentiality of all information, reports, and data exchanged under this program.
11. General Understanding
This document will supersede previous agreement/TORs and reflects mutual understanding between PSEB and the Company for smooth execution of the Apprenticeship Program. It is not intended to create any legal partnership or employment relationship. Both parties agree to work in good faith to achieve the program’s objectives. Companies must comply with all instructions issued by PSEB from time to time. This includes adhering to guidelines, policies, and procedural requirements communicated through official circulars, notices, portal or correspondence.
